I can't believe it came and went so fast. Katie and I had a count down of when we were leaving, even texting each other in the morning before we left. Last Monday, we left from NYC on the Carnival Miracle, setting sail for San Juan, St. Thomas and Tortola. 21 family and friends of Katie and Eric came along. We had almost a week on the ship before the wedding day in St Thomas. Katie was the calmest non chalant bride ever. She wanted to avoid all the hoopla that comes with weddings. Whatever happened, happened. We took 2 vans to Lime Tree beach where the coordinators were waiting. This view was incredible. The ceremony was held right under the palm trees in front of the ocean. 5 minutes tops!
Then everyone else was shuttled back to the ship to change while I had Katie and Eric alone to shoot on the beach. We then headed back to the ship to eat quick and then shoot more on the ship because it was hot and we wanted to spend the rest of the day going around St Thomas. This trip was one of the most incredible experiences of my life! As I type this, I wish I was back on the boat.... I love you guys and miss you all!!! Thank you for allowing me to shoot this and for Tony and I to come along.
