I headed to Vegas with a preconcieved notion that I would be attached at the hip to my friends I went with and the photographers I already knew. Wrong.
In the wedding photography world there are “famous” people too. Photographers that we look up to and who would intimidate you by how good they are. But, I learned that MOST of them are people to. They don’t snub you off like you would think. They do suck every once in a while too. So, I just walked up and started talking. I met so many incredible people this week. I learned that I do have the ability to do this well.
We all struggle with our own insecurities and I know I need to get over them.
Anyway….. just to fill you in on the following images…
I had attended a bunch of seminars this week, a lot of them business. One imparticular was a desert bridal shoot with John Michael Cooper and David Beckstead. Wow!!! It was cold, dusty and absolutely worth standing in it! So I take no credit for those shots. Yeah, I shot them, but it was all their set up. (my point n shoot also b/c I was afraid it would be ruined. I am sooo regreting not taking it there.)
Other nights, we would walk around and shoot, or go to parties, and even veg in the room. So here they are….just a few….These are my girls I went with. I can’t tell you how hard we laughed all week. Since Jen and Ang aren’t photogs, we split our time up in seminars and then hanging out with them. I am sooooo tired!
