Holly and Craig met me at Allenberry Playhouse for their engagement session. They thought it would be a great place to shoot because of all the leaves changing and it is such a beautiful place. We cracked up so much during their shoot that it made photographing them very easy!
Katie and Jonathan
These two are just pure sexiness! I love when my couples relax and completely feel free to be themselves around me. Katie and Jonathan did just that! I can’t wait for their wedding next year!!
Mike and Joanna
Mike and Joanna met me on a busy Friday night in the city for their engagement session. Since I have been there so much recently, I tried to walk in a different direction to find new places that I haven’t shot before. We did good for a while but ended back up at some of my favorite places but put a different spin on them. We had a great time trying to get to know each other before their wedding next year!!
Meghan and Carlos
I tell all my couples, that an engagement session is like a “get to know you” session, to get used to me being around with my camera and getting a feel for how I do things. Meghan and Carlos wanted to find the right spot for their shoot. They didn’t want to go where their friends went, so after some discussion, we found a place. Everyone asks, “what do you want us to do?” I say, ” be yourselves and be natural” Meghan and Carlos did just that. They said how they never get to see each other very often throughout the week and they never get to stare at each other so much. Their affection for each other came out instantly and you could see just how much they love each other with every caress and embace. They are so sweet to work with! Can’t wait for your wedding in a few weeks!
Kirstin and Liam
Kirstin and Liam were just so cute! They giggled all the time and said ” We’ll do whatever you want us to!” This was perfect!
We met at Meadow View Plantation in Mount Joy for their engagement session where they are actually having their reception. The sun was in that sweet place mid way through the session so we used it as much as possible.
I can’t wait for their wedding here next year!
Lauren and Brian…engaged
Lauren and Brian met me in Lancaster City for their engagement session. Their wedding is coming up in a few weeks!!
I can’t wait!!!
Ashley and Curtis
Monday I had the pleasure of photographing Ashley and Curtis’ engagement session. What a sweet and adorable couple! We pretty much just walked and talked throughout the city and were up for anything I threw at them. I am very random in my shooting locations so I warned them a head of time, things change quickly. Here are a few of my favs!
Kelly and David
Sunday, Kelly and David met me at Long’s Park for their engagement session. We have been so lucky with the weather lately and am glad we were able to get this in! I love doing engagement sessions for a chance to get to know my couple a bit more and for them to be more comfortable with me being with them their whole wedding day. Here are a few from our session. David, hopefully you got a chance to see some football afterward!!
Emily and Patrick
Tuesday, I met Emily, Patrick and Buddha at Dickinson College for their engagement session. These two are so in love with their little dog that they brought him along. Poor little guy didn’t last too long in the heat, so Emily’s Mom took him back home. We then walked around Carlisle to find some great spots. This is where Emily grew up so she was sharing stories of different places and we reminisced about our favorite clothing store that was lost in a fire a few years ago. RIP Classic Rags……
I am very random when I shoot. I tell people all the time that I will be walking a certain direction and if I see something different, we will go there. So bear with me. After we were done and walking back to my car, I spotted the most beautiful tree and the sun was hitting it so perfectly. We made sure no one saw us sneaking up this driveway, shot it, and then took off. Not that anyone would have really yelled, but it was fun. Here are just a few from our session.
Barb and Ross
Thursday, I met Barb and Ross in Lititz for their engagement session. Thank goodness the sun started to go down when we got there, because it was disgustingly hot. We had a great time despite the heat. Barb and Ross were so easy to photograph. I hardly had to give them any direction. You can tell that their affection it totally real. It just came so natural to them.
I am so excited to shoot their wedding in September! Here are a quick few…
