Elizabeth and Ryan…married Country Club of York

Katie and I had the priviledge of photographing Elizabeth and Ryan’s wedding.
Elizabeth was absolutely graceful and stunning in her mothers veil.
The ceremony was held at the Wrightville Presbyterian church in Wrightsville. I love the fact that Elizabeth knew I would love the church and places around it because they fit my style of shooting.
After the ceremony and some quick shots around the church, we headed to the Country Club of York for the reception. Everything was perfect!

Saturday was the beautiful wedding of Kirstin and Liam at Lime Spring Farm in Lancaster.
All the girls got ready at the Marriott in the city and then we walked to St. Mary’s for the ceremony.
The wedding party then jumped on the trolley and headed to Lime Spring where they all joined the guests for cocktail hour and then the pig roast reception. The food was sooo incredible!

Joanna and Mike…married Inn at Leola Village

What an incredible day for a wedding! “I give it an 11 1/2”!
Saturday, I met the ladies at Joanna’s house where the ceremony was being held, while my good friend Nicole met the guys in Leola.
The weather was so iffy right up until Joanna and Mike were saying their vows. The sun came out and lit them so beautifully!
After the ceremony, Mike and Joanna, jumped in Joanna’s fathers hot rod and sped off to the reception. They were able to join their guest for cocktails before the reception. I have to say, the toasts from both of Mike’s brothers and Joanna’s friends Nicole and Jordan had to be the best we have heard in a long time. I was cracking up as much as everyone else. It totally kicked off the night to the most packed dance floor ever I have seen! Enjoy!!

Amy and Andrew married…Cork Factory Lancaster

I couldn’t wait to see Amy and Andrew again. We had such a great time during their engagement session and bonded instantly. I knew we were going to have a blast during the wedding day too!
Liesa and I met Amy and the girls at the Cork Factory Hotel to get ready. Andrew and the guys were there as well. Amy and Andrew decided to see each other before the wedding and have all their “formals” done so we could go right to the reception after the ceremony.
After shooting, we jumped on the trolley and headed to the church in Ephrata. Jonnaysa and Diana from Planned Perfection were there to greet us and make sure the rest of the day went smoothly. I had a few minutes after the ceremony to sneak Amy and Andrew away so they could have a few more moments alone before the party.
We all jumped on the trolley again and headed to the Cork Factory for the reception. It was incredible! The day could not have been more perfect!
We love you guys!! Have a wonderful trip! I’ll see you when you get back!

Pam and Fred…married Rehoboth Beach Delaware

Saturday we traveled to Rehoboth Beach Delaware for Pam and Fred’s gorgeous oceanfront wedding. When we got to the first house where the girls were getting ready, Pam greeted us – not with handshakes and hellos, but with huge hugs and the feeling that we’ve all been friends for years.

The girls got ready in a family friends house while the guys were in town for a morning shave and cut . Everyone was so relaxed and at ease, it was hard to believe there was a wedding just a few hours away!

The ceremony and reception were held at another beach house close by. The weather was absolutely amazing! They incorporated Pam’s daughter into everything with a sand ceremony and Fred giving her a sweet heart necklace to symbolize the joining of families.

Every detail of Pam and Fred’s wedding was so elegant and personal, from her Grandfather’s bow tie on her flowers, to the photobooth for all the guest, the wedding cake of cannolis, and of course, the signature mojitos.

Pam and Fred, thank you for letting us share your special day with you, we feel so much like family now – so, I guess we’ll be seeing you all this summer. . . at the beach house, of course. 🙂

Sin Kei and David….married Moshulu Philadelphia, Pa

Friday we headed to Philadelphia for Sin Kei and David’s wedding on the Moshulu. Everyone was getting ready right up the street at the Hyatt and then we walked to the ship, meanwhile shooting Sin Kei and David along the way.
The ceremony was held on the top deck of the ship. Sin Kei was so full of giggles! After cocktails, we all headed downstairs to start the reception. Everything was so exquisitely decorated. David made all of the origami cranes and turtles that were at each place setting. I can’t even imagine how long it took!
When the reception was winding down, they were treated to a fireworks show over the bridge in the distance. What an incredible day!!

Erica and Rick…married

I can’t begin to tell you how much fun we had photographing Erica and Rick’s wedding! I got to know them while we shot their engagement session in Washington DC a few months ago and it was like we picked up where we left off.
Everyone was getting ready at the hotel before heading over to the church. While the guys were getting ready, I heard the plot thickening for the walk down the aisle with Erica’s Dad and her….
I watched from the front of the church for anything unexpected. Not until half way down the aisle, did Erica and her Dad, bust out with a shimmy shake! It was hysterical! It helped a little with everyones nerves. Then the tears came during the vows. The whole front row needed a box of tissues as Erica started to cry. Then she just doubled over laughing.
Afterward, the whole wedding party, Liesa and myself piled in the Limo and headed to Founder’s Hall before it rained and tried to avoid the hundreds of Prom goers.
Back in the limo we went and headed back to the Holiday Inn Grantville for the reception and party! It was an absolutely gorgeous day!
Erica, you are one of the most elegant brides we have ever seen. Rick, Thank you for your service and your great big hugs!
Thank you for letting us be apart of your lives and this special day!!
Enjoy!
