It has been forever!! Sorry!! I am recovering from Carpel Tunnel surgery and had to take some time off. But, now I am back in full force!
Right before my surgery, I participated in the second annual Hamilton Club Bridal Open House hosted by Lori Hemphill of The Perfect Plan. It was a nice imtimate bridal show.
One of the best fashion shows I’ve seen in a while was put on by In White Bridal that just opened in Lancaster. The lighting by
Shumaker’s, the models and the dresses were simply amazing! I am only posting a few images here, but you can head over to our Facebook page to see all the rest!
Enjoy~
Katie and Nelson… Central Park
Finally!! I was so excited that Katie and Nelson wanted to do their engagement session in NYC where they now live. The weather and other events kept postponing this, but we finally did it! (My) Katie and I drove up to the city on Saturday to meet Katie and Nelson at Central Park. It was absolutely gorgeous! There was a quite a bit of snow covering everything which made it even more magical.
It was cold, but we all pushed through it and had so much fun in the process. Afterward we wanted to head to Times Square to warm up and ended up shooting a bit more there. Can’t wait for the wedding in October!!

Ryanne and Ron…married Clarks Landing, Point Pleasant, NJ
A New Year’s day wedding was a perfect way to welcome in the new year. Katie and I traveled down to Point Pleasant New Jersey for Ryanne and Ron’s wedding. Everything was held at Clark’s Landing. I have to say, I think this is one of my new favorite places!! The view is gorgeous, the food is to die for, and the over all experience was absolutely amazing!
Ryanne and Ron are pretty much as laid back as you can get. They threw their wedding together in 2 months. I was so impressed by how everything just came together. They were such a fantastic couple to shoot and be with for the whole day. Here are a few highlights of the day!

Jim and Annette…married Sheraton Great Valley
Friday was our last wedding of the year!! We traveled to Downingtown for Jim and Annette’s big day! We met everyone at the Sheraton Great Valley for getting ready, first glance and to shoot all the formals because the days are so short. Then we all piled in the limo and headed in to West Chester to shot a bit more. Not only did I have Liesa with me shooting, Tony, the ring bearer decided I needed another partner. He was so cute! Every time I moved, he was right by my side doing exactly what I was. He has a bright future!
After the ceremony, we went back to the hotel where the party could finally start! Jim and Annette’s favorite place is Hawaii, so they had the whole reception decked out like we were actually there. Everyone was presented with a real Lei and ate out of real Pineapples. What a sweet twist!
Here are a few from the day!
Annette loves colorful socks, so Jim surprised her with these gems!
Best of Weddings Susquehanna Valley Bridal Show
A few months ago, I was asked to participate in the Best of Weddings Susquehanna Valley Bridal Show at the Lancaster Marriott and Convention Center. This show was unlike any other. There were 3 separate room filled with one vendor from each speciality, (i.e photographer, cake artist, florist, invitations,DJ, event designer) and we were to transform the room however we wanted. Our room had 4 themes: Brights and Polka dots, Nature, Old Hollywood/Glamour and Black and White. We took 3 days to set this room up and it turned out so fabulous! All the vendors in my room pulled together to make this spectaular! Thank you so much to Special Occasions, Studio Jenz, and Grand Events for helping us pull this off!! Stacia, Thank you for helping with this vision and owning it!
A huge Thank you to Jonnaysa Kirkham of Planned Perfection who had the idea and ran with it! This show was a huge success!!
Here are all the creative minds I got to share this room with! You all are so talented!
Kristi and Jeff…married Lancaster Convention Center
As I sit down to write this blog, my eyes are still welled up with tears. I will explain….
Liesa and I arrived at the new Lancaster Convention Center and Hotel for Kristi and Jeff’s wedding. The girls were getting ready in the suite. While Kristi hair was being finished, I grabbed her bouquet to shoot it. Jonnaysa told me to not let Kristi see the locket that was tied to it.. Kristi’s Father passed away a few years ago and her Mom wanted her Father to be with her during her wedding. When I was done shooting the bouquet and fighting back the tears, I handed it to Kristi’s Mom to give to her. I managed to shoot a few frames before the tears kept me from focusing. I knew what she was going through having lost my Dad not too long ago. These moments get me every time.
So, once all the girls were finished up, we went downstairs to shoot around the hotel since it was pouring!
We then walked across the street to the Trinity Lutheran Church for the ceremony. This was the first time we have been to this church and it is so beautiful!! The ceremony went quick and smoothly. We snapped a few family formals and then headed outside since the rain tapered off. Kristi bought a bunch of white umbrellas because rain was in the forecast, so we had to use them! We didn’t go too far in case the rain started again, which it did right as we were finishing up.
Everyone headed upstairs to cocktail hour while Liesa and I snuck into the reception hall. WOW!! Very elegant!
Studio Jenz did all the lighting of the fabulous centerpieces from All Things Beautiful and the delicious cake from Rosie’s Creative Cakes. Kristi and Jeff had the best candy bar as well which we had to use for the ring shots.
Once everyone was inside the reception, This is Masquerade had everyone on the dance floor all night!
The day went so smoothly thanks to Planned Perfection. I always know it’s going to be a good day when Jonnaysa is there.
Kristi and Jeff, thank you for letting us be part of you day! (Kristi sorry we kept making each other cry!) Big hugs and love!

Nicole and Sinan…married Warwick Hotel
Nicole has the type of laugh that can get you out of any bad mood. Everytime I heard her, she put a smile on my face. Most of the time, when she was giggling, it was at Sinan.
Liesa and I met Nicole, Sinan and their families at the Warwick Hotel in Philly. Technically, they were already married, but wanted to have the big ceremony and reception for the families.
They saw each other before the ceremony to do all their photos. We had the chance to walk around the city a bit with the wedding party as well.
They held both the ceremony and reception in the same room, but flipped it between. You would have never know it was the same room. It was so wonderful to see the two cultures come together and celebrate Nicole and Sinan. What a fabulous day!!!

Kerri and Greg…married…Molly Pitcher Inn
Saturday was another long distance wedding for us. Katie (she’s back!) and I headed to Toms River NJ for Kerri and Greg’s wedding. The weather was very sketchy all day and the sky finally opened up during the ceremony like you wouldn’t believe! Lucky it stopped right after the ceremony to allow us to go to the Deep Cut Gardens with Kerri, Greg and the wedding party. What an amazing place! Afterward, we met everyone at Molly Pitcher Inn
for the reception. The view left me speechless!
We had a great time spending the whole day with Kerri and Greg! They were so sweet together. Enjoy!!!
