This wedding worked out perfectly! Tammy contacted me to shoot her wedding in the Outer Banks NC at the beginning of the year. It just so happened that we were going on vacation in the Outer Banks that weekend!
We headed down to Coquina Beach where the ceremony was held. In 15 minutes, the site was set up and Tammy and her father were walking down the beach to meet Andy. After a quick ceremony, we headed over to Bodie Island lighthouse for some family pics and time with Tammy and Andy. The reception was then held at The Budleigh in Manteo.

Vicky and Dino…married
Sunday was the second wedding of our weekend. My friend Erik
came to help me again. This was the most traditional greek wedding we have ever been too!!
I headed over to Vicky’s house, while Erik headed over to Dino’s to be with the guys. The morning was so relaxing with Vicky. We sat around and ate Baklava and drank frappuccino’s until the whirlwind started. All of her cousins showed up to help her get dressed. Then so quickly, she was whisked downstairs to put her shoes on and dance.
After a beautiful ceremony, we snuck Vicky and Dino around the back of the church for some private time, then it was back to the huge family waiting to shower them with love and money during the reception. What a wonderful, crazy day!! You both were amazing!! Thank you for sharing your day with us!! Check out your show!
Ashley and Curtis..married Colonial Country Club
Ashley & Curtis look at each other and instantly smile. Their eyes align and you can feel this sense of love and comfort, it is so infectious and so beautiful.
The day began at Ashley’s ‘old’ house, she got ready surrounded by all her family and friends, and waited for Curtis to arrive. YOU SEE, they decided to see each other before the ceremony, which ( I personally think ) relieves some pre-wedding-aisle-walking-jitters, and gives the bridge and groom a chance to get some extra fantastic pictures. 🙂
‘ so be it ‘ said Ashley, and they were officially wed.
The reception was held at the Colonial Country Club
in Harrisburg. When you entered the ballroom, it was hard not to notice all the details. The rich deep purples, the sparkling diamonds & the orchids decorated the entire room.
Matt from Rhythm System
kept the party going all night, with some help from the the coordinator, florist, cha-cha-slide-expert, Wendy & her team from
Hammaker’s
Ashley & Curtis, we are so thankful to be apart of your special day, we feel more like family than your ‘photographers’, we laughed when you laughed, and we cried when you. .. well, we cried almost all day long, so thanks for making us look like a bunch of emotional women, ‘preciate it.
sushi soon, ashley – don’t worry.
Enjoy your honeymoon,
and enjoy your show!

Alison and Todd…married in Cape May
This past weekend, Liesa and I headed down to Cape May NJ for Alison and Todd’s wedding. We met Alison and her bridesmaids at her parents beach house while they got ready, then headed over to the church in the middle of town. The church was packed with all their family and friends who travelled all the way to see them!
Once the ceremony was over, we all headed over to Congress Hall
for the reception. During cocktail hour, we took the wedding party down to the beach for a few shots and then snuck Alison and Todd away for a few moments alone.
The reception was then in full swing with the incredible Tribeca Grand who had everyone on the dance floor as soon as they came in! What a beautiful day you had!!

Welcome to the world Taelyn!
A few weeks ago, I got a call from Amber, one of my past brides, letting me know she was expecting very soon. Once the baby was born, she wanted to do a Baby’s First Year package. On Easter day, Taelyn made her way into the world! Today, I went over to photograph her for the first time. Amber is a girl after my own heart! She had Taelyn’s nursery done in hot pink and black with ZEBRA print accents. Amber’s mother made all the bedding, lamps and every thing in between. Since Taelyn was born on Easter, Amber thought it would be cute to have her in an Easter basket with bunny ears. Taelyn loved it!! Too cute!
So here is a few of Miss Taelyn!

Janelle and Angelo…married Lancaster Country Club
I have never seen two people more in love with each other than Janelle and Angelo. They will tell the story of how they met at his families restaurant over and over. It seems as though Janelle was destined to walk in that day and see Angelo working. Sparks flew immediately and the rest is history.
Sunday was a testament to their bond. Smiles, laughs and tears were shared by everyone all day.
I was so connected to Janelle from the day we met. She would call me to share every planning detail and to get my opinion on everything. She is a girl after my own heart!
My friend Erik came to shoot with me Sunday. He had a chance to meet Janelle at our Photog shoot out last month where Janelle was one of the models. So this made it seem like we were all just a bunch of friends hanging out for the day.
The ceremony was held at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox church in Lancaster. I love Greek ceremonies because you are allowed to stand right up in the action. Janelle was like a big bundle of energy waiting for the pronouncement that her and Angelo were finally married. She even did a little dance right at the end!
After shooting some formals of everyone, we headed to Lancaster Country Club for the reception. Janelle wanted us to photograph the ballroom before anyone was allowed in. She put in so much thought to the details, from the zebra print table runners, ostrich feather center pieces to the hockey puck place cards(for Angelo) and the Bowl of baked oatmeal cake. Yes, it was crazy and different, but they wanted something to symbolize the first date they had over a bowl of baked oatmeal!
After dinner and some traditional greek dances, they had a limbo and hoola hoop contest in honor of Janelle’s college friends.
We had such a blast!! Thank you for letting us be part of your day!! Enjoy your show!

Lauren and Rob..married at Historic Strasburg Inn
Lauren and Rob were married on the most gorgeous day we have had in a long time! The temperature was perfect! Everything was on Sunday!
Liesa and I met Lauren and the girls in the newly build suites of Eden Resort. Outside the room was parked a red scooter…we were so confused. Lauren then told us it was her wedding present to Rob. So Liesa went off with the guys to capture Rob’s reaction to his gift. Meanwhile the girls finished up before we all headed to Strasburg for the ceremony. Jonnaysa and Diana of Planned Perfection were already there putting the finishing touches on everything. We grabbed a few shots of the guys and girls separately before the ceremony since we had a little extra time. After the ceremony and family formals, we took Lauren and Rob around the grounds of the Inn for some quiet time alone. Lauren was absolutely stunning!! Rob is a lucky man!!
We arrived just a little before the reception started to get settled. Then the reception was in full swing! What a perfect day! We were so lucky to be able to work with some of our favorite vendors. Enjoy your honeymoon and show!

The Cork Factory Hotel at Urban Place
I was lucky enough to be invited for a sneak preview of the newly renovated, soon to be finished Cork Factory Hotel at Urban Place. I am so excited for Lancaster to get another reception venue! This place is going to be amazing! Not only is there a gigantic ballroom, but the hotel will have at least 70 rooms and a really magnificent restaurant and bar! Jill Fanning and her Father Barry Baldwin gave us a tour as we tried to use our imaginations of how beautiful this is going to be once it is complete! I CAN’T wait!!!!
