Saturday, Katie and I started out in Lancaster for Jessica and Chad’s wedding. This is now the start of the crazy wedding season ahead!
This girl’s were right on schedule when we arrived. We found some great spot’s in the church for some fun formals since it was raining slightly. Once the girls were hidden we grabbed the guys quick before the ceremony for a shot or two. Then we headed to an old mill for something different. we had so much fun because they were up for anything.
The reception was held at the Harrisburg Holiday Inn where Chad worked, so it was great to be able to be in his own stomping grounds.
Thanks for letting us be a part of your day! Have fun in Mexico! And now.. the slideshow .
Finally we got a chance to go outside and play! Braden’s el cheapo bubble maker broke so we busted out the regular ones. He got the hang of it after a while.
Monday, the rain held off and I was able to meet Deb and Dan on City Island for their engagement session. They brought their sweet dog with them for something different.
This was a great spot for them since they live and work in the city and added that element into their shots. Her are just few from the afternoon.
Sunday, I met Anna and Nick in Carlisle for their engagement session. This was the first time I had met both of them in person and was so happy that we clicked right away. Funny how things come full circle in life. Anna and Nick are getting married in Kings Gap which is where I took a photograph in the 6th grade to win in the Scholastics art competition, which is the reason I am a photographer today!!
We started out at Dickenson College and made our way through the city looking for little nooks and crannies to shoot in. It seems as though this weekend, we just missed John Kerry speaking for Obama around the corner from where we were shooting. I swear one of these days we will actually see someone!
Enjoy guys!
Saturday the boys and I along with our friends Chris and Amy went to Hershey Park for the day. It was a little chilly, but it was so nice to be able to spend a day with everyone before the craziness of the wedding season really hits.Me and Braden on the carousel.Braden’s way of playing skee ballThe newest coaster being built. I cannot wait for this!! 97 degree drop!Chris and AmyThe famKobe and me.
Saturday, I went to Isabella’s house for her first session of Baby’s First Year. She was such a nosy baby, always wondering what I was doing. Their dog Bailey was the same way…and a ham too!
Her are just a few from the session. Look for her next session in a few months.
I love going to dinner with friends. Any meal is fine with me as long as there is food, I am happy! Last night I got together with Kris and Krisha. We have been trying to make this a monthly thing just to catch up and talk about the industry. We had such a good time that i had to bust out the PS and be cheesy.
We are such dorks!
Well, after all the great guesses…no one got it…but that is OK, It was tough if you didn’t know already…
Well, our Katie is tying the knot this June!! I am so excited!!!!! Where?? Oh, that is the best part!! St Thomas! Not only to I get to shoot it, it is like a vacation with one of my best friends! I will try to blog about it while we are there, but Cruises don’t have the best Internet and it is expensive…so we will see…. Thanks for taking part in this contest…There will be one more probably next month….it is a DOOZY!
This morning, I met Jen and Greg in Harrisburg for their engagement session. I underestimated how cold it really was when I went outside. I didn’t realize it until I was walking down an alley to meet them at the walking bridge. Plus, the wind was brutal! We walked around the city for a while finding different places to shoot than I normally do. When we turned a corner, we saw a huge crowd of people, so we walked down to see what was going on. The line went all the way around the corner and I thought, “Oh my gosh!” “Obama is here!” We started getting closer to everyone and decided to peek around the corner just to make sure. Not a good idea….the crowd thought we were butting in line and started to yell….but we all laughed when they realized we weren’t there for the same reason. Turns out it was only a line for tickets to see Obama when he speaks in a bit.
We did have a great time and I am looking forward to the wedding next month. It is so great to have a couple interact with each other as well as these two! Here are a few from our walk.
