Brady is one…plus a few months.

I know I say this all the time, but man, time goes by so fast! I can’t believe that Brady is already ONE! I feel so blessed to have been able to photograph him and his brother since they were born, not to mention their parents wedding!
We finally were able to do this shoot after so many rain delays. Finally, the skies cleared and we had such a beautiful day to shoot!

Nikolaus is not blinking. The little stinker was just being 4…… 😉

Brittany and Dave…engaged

This past weekend, I headed to NYC to photograph Brittany and Dave’s engagement session. Saturday was not looking too good weather-wise, but Brittany said she would shoot rain or shine. We brought umbrella’s and rainboots and had so much fun!
We first started in Brooklyn at the Promanade where Dave had proposed to Brittany. What an amazing view of everything! We walked the streets a little before it started to pour. Then we hopped on the subway and headed to Grand Central Station. We can always hope for perfect weather to shoot, but then life would be boring! Enjoy guys!! Can’t wait for September!

Mark and Cara… engaged

Mark has been in my life since the 6th grade. I remember being at Middle School dances and asking him to dance with my one girlfriends who liked him. Being the nice guy he was, he did, every time. After High school, Mark was and is the nicest, funniest and most amazing guy. Cara knows this. She is exactly the perfect fit for Mark. He can sometimes be loud, and a lot to handle, but in Cara’s words, she wouldn’t want him any other way. I am so happy that Mark has finally found the perfect girl! We have all waited for the day when he would be so happy. We have a very close knit group of friends and Cara has been welcomed in with open arms and blends so nicely. So, needless to say, it is my honor to get to photograph them, the way they are together. Every moment was filled with giggles and uncontrollable laughter. I love you both and can not wait for your wedding. It is going to be of epic proportions!

Tangles Salon

Kristin from Tangles Salon asked me to do a few shoots for her AD that will be in Fine Living Lancaster. There will be a different one in each new issue featuring Grace and her journey. I think it is great concept and so happy Kristin and I can work together. We seem to share alike visions. This time, she was looking for a “God Father” feel but with our twist on it. I can’t wait for our next shoot. The wheels are already turning!

Spring Portrait time!

Although the weather doesn’t feel like it, Spring is here!!! Time for shooting!!
The Murphy’s were one of my couples from 6 years ago who now have 2 beautiful little girls! I had already shot their oldest daughters portraits a few times but this was the first I had met their youngest daughter. Since it was a bit chilly, we stayed in the studio for the most part, but ventured outside for a minute to use the amazing light that was available. Here is a sneak peak guys before you head to Disney!!

Jenna and Ryan

About an hour before we were going to meet, Jenna and I realized that the St Patrick’s Day parade was starting around the time we wanted to shoot….. we scrambled for a new meeting place close by in the city. Jenna and Ryan were so good about changing things and wandering into not so great parts of the city when I had a crazy idea. These two are naturals and I can not wait for their wedding!!

So, let me explain this…
We were walking down the street and saw a little boy getting his photo taken by his Mom while he was hugging this fire hydrant. We only saw it from the back where it looked normal…. needless to say, it was quite hysterical. Then we saw the front and thought it was only appropriate to do the same.
